5 Fitness Apps and Channels to Help You Exercise At Home
With gyms closed and rules limiting our outdoor activities, what’s a girl to do if she wants to keep healthy and trim while staying at home? Especially when staying home seems to be an impetus for increased snacking?
If you’ve been hunched over your laptop the whole week - take a break and stretch out those stiff muscles with these home fitness resources.
1. Daily IG Live Sessions with @jasminechong___
Jasmine Chong is the owner of Lab Studios - and her daily live streams are always a pleasure to participate in. Her positive personality shines through her Live sessions - where she teaches a mix of barre and yoga movements.
Unlike some classes that can move too fast and leave newbies struggling to follow - Jasmine takes the time to explain the movements, pointing out the parts of your body you should engage to do the poses safely correctly. Her sessions are inspirational, challenging yet also forgiving - with constant reminders to listen to your body and be patient and consistent with your practice.

Joanna Soh is a local fitness influencer with a very active youtube channel. She has put together a 21 Days #Stayhome Workout playlist of her full-length workout videos to help those with cabin fever get moving fast. The best part of her channel is the sheer variety of her workouts - kickboxing, cardio, barre, strength and sculpt … you’ll find something to suit your interests and intensity levels.
If you’re looking for a low impact workout - why not try her 10,000 Indoor STEP Challenge? It’s a fun and probably more comfortable way to chalk up your step count at home, now that everyone except those engaging in strenuous exercise needs to wear a mask outdoors.
3. Yoga with Adriene
